FedEx To Move Apollo Capsule On Upcoming National Tour.

USA Today reports the Smithsonian is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission by taking the command module Columbia out of the National Air and Space Museum and sending it on a two-year, national tour called “Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission.” Its last national tour was in the early 1970s. FedEx, “the sole transportation sponsor of the exhibit,” will ship the capsule to “four museums in Houston, St. Louis, Pittsburgh and Seattle.”  Also, by SPACE and GeekWire
